Just purchased 6D Mark II. Overnight the battery Drains. I have a 6D and have usede the same batteries in it and do not have that issue. I purchased new batteries anyhow to see if it was a battery issue in a new camera. Still getting Battery drain overnight. I do not see that GPS or Bluetoothe is turned on. Any help - is there a firmware issue?

The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV has 61 AF focus points, compared with the EOS 6D Mark II’s 45. All of the 6D Mark II’s focus points are cross-type. The 5D has 41 cross-type AF points. Both cameras use a Dual Pixel CMOS AF sensor, and both have contrast and phase detection. In both cases, the same two-system AF is also available in Live View.
Hello folks, the canon service repair doesn’t list my battery grip for repair or support, I have had it for about 2 years, and one battery slot doesn’t work anymore, it keeps displaying the “Battery communication error, do these batteries display the canon logo?” And usually I just clean the battery
I am learning how to use the 6d Mark II after using the IDs Mark II for many years. The weight of the older model was just too much. But, what I am concerned about is the battery life with the new camera. I could shoot RAW for 8 weeks with just one battery for the IDs Mark II.
